How long have you been working here?
I first worked with Bowles & Wyer in 2015
What time did you get up this morning?
6am
What did you have for breakfast?
Always plenty of fruit and a large cup of tea
What was the first thing you did when you got to the office or site this morning?
Put on my PPE and took a walk around the site. Quality control and health and safety issues are usually the first on the list.
What does your work day typically consist of?
I’m extremely lucky with variety. Each day differs – from admin in the office or dropping into several sites to review progress, deal with construction issues and maintain momentum of works. Office days are generally catching up with paperwork and placing orders.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
Project planning and logistics
What’s your least favourite element of your job?
London traffic – without a shadow of a doubt!
What’s your favourite snack in the office or on site?
The sweetie bowl in the office!
How do you spend a typical evening after work?
Once the chores of young children are complete, it’s on with a Netflix series or out jogging. The joys of parenthood.
