I am a landscape architect.

Almost two years now.

7.30am.

Crumpets with butter and raspberries and black cherry jam.

What was the first thing you did when you got to the office or site this morning?

I am currently working from home so it only takes me about one minute to get to my new office / kitchen table! First thing I do is make sure I have all snacks hidden away.

What does your work day typically consist of?

A lot of video conference calls at the moment, mixed with design work. I’m part of a larger team but my job varies from designing and doing construction drawings to attending site visits. I use AutoCAD, Photoshop and Indesign for the majority of my work.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Concept design.

What’s your least favourite element of your job?

Value engineering.

What’s your favourite snack in the office or on site?

I miss Mandy’s weekly biscuits!

How do you spend a typical evening after work?

At the moment I’m spending a lot of time reading in the garden or going for walks.
