Inspired Ideas: Pots

Written by Rosa Hinton

This month our design team share their insights into using pots within garden design. Design Director, James Smith, comments ‘We love to use pots of all shapes and sizes, whether in a formal setting, city roof garden or a contemporary garden space. We use a range of different materials to create the desired effect – from fibreglass and lead, to zinc, clay and wood!’ Here you’ll find some of our favourites from projects we’ve done over the years…

This pot acts a centrepiece for a garden, whilst adding a pop of colour
These pots line the driveway as part of a contemporary country garden
This pot perfectly complements the tree in this modern garden
These pots add texture and greenery to a minimalist roof terrace in the city
This container dresses the entrance way to a London townhouse
Pots can also be used to add colour to roof terraces
This enormous Atelier Vierkant pot with an equally large Acer palmatum is the centrepiece to this London front garden
Pots are also a great way to bring trees onto roof gardens
These sleek pots work well with the topiary
Pots are great for bringing a bit of colour and greenery to an otherwise empty corner

We hope that’s proved inspiring – more to come next month…
