What’s your job role at Bowles & Wyer?

Special Projects Foreman

 

How long have you been working here?

2 years, this time round!

 

What time did you get up this morning?

5.30am

 

What did you have for breakfast?

Toast with peanut butter and a black coffee

 

What was the first thing you did when you got to the office or site this morning?

Coffee and read my emails

 

What does your work day typically consist of? 

No two days are the same – but I generally oversee Special Projects works, health & safety on site, ordering materials and arranging labour, all whilst liaising with Stuart Wallace, my manager. I also meet with clients and designers – whatever way that relationship works on each job.

 

What’s your favourite part of your job?

The variety and ambition of the gardens I work on.

 

What’s your least favourite element of your job?

The variety and ambition of the gardens I work on.

 

What’s your favourite snack in the office or on site?

Doughnuts!

 

How do you spend a typical evening after work?

I’ll have dinner with the family, get the kids to bed, followed by a quality beer or two and an episode of whatever TV show we’re currently streaming!
