I got up at 5.30am this morning.

What did you have for breakfast?

A big cup of black coffee with a dash of milk!

What was the first thing you did when you got to the office or site this morning?

The first thing I do when I arrive on site is to have a look around and assess what needs to be done in the garden that day.

What does your work day typically consist of?

My job revolves around looking after our gardens and keeping them well maintained – all year round. The things I do vary and change depending on the season, but mainly I do lawn mowing, leaf blowing. I also dead-head flowers, cut hedges and do any weeding. I work with my assistant gardener, Aaron, to do all this.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

My favourite part of my job is the hedge cutting – I like shaping hedges into different designs!

What’s your least favourite element of your job?

Working in the rain is my least favourite part of the job.

What’s your favourite snack in the office or on site?

I usually have sandwiches and chips at work – it’s a simple and quick meal to get me through the day!

How do you spend a typical evening after work?

When I get home, I’ll catch up with my girlfriend, before cooking dinner and then watching some TV.
